Apron

I am by far not an overly crafty person, i get distracted, the mess wears at me and I am completley aware that i hardley ever finish a "hobby" type project. scrapbooks are done but with out pictures, Knitting half finshed sitting in a speacilly purchased knitting basket, haha but it looks cute and is organized that is my fav part of crafts, organizing the mess!! This year for christmas i asked my mom for aprons I was suprised when she got a kit to decorate our own I DONT DO CRAFTS, but my mom got everything for us and all we had to do was decorate and we had a great and fun bonding experience with a very cute end product. THANKS MOM we love you so much!!!

Ryan- showed his creativity with an iron on tie he turned the whole apron in to a shirt and pant combo complete with pens in the pocket.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!

This year we got to do a couple unique things for Ryans birthday, the girls picked out their own presents for dad all by them self Summer got Ryan two romote control monster trucks, Millie got him a hot wheels t-shirt we had a party for him the night before his birthday cause Summer had plans on his b-day.  Summer was at a friends birthday party so we were able to go to a place we have been wanting to go since we moved to DC, Dogfish head brewery BUT the most unique thing was spending a birthday with family!! The chance doesn't happen much and this year Ernie spent it with us!! We had a yummy dinner and an intresting aray of beers (not me i think i would have liked one of those beers) and an overall great night!!! Happy birthday RYAN!!!

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW (almost caught up)

LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!!

My biggest concern when moving to a new area is the snow, I dislike snow. The only snow i have ever really experienced is the mid-west snow, really cold, really wind, really not fun. I was told it hardly ever snowed in DC EXCEPT this year of course. Some of it has been, really cold, really windy, and really not fun. But in December was the first time i had experienced a 32 degree snow with no wind and lots of fun!!! It was beautiful to watch and i even went on a walk through it!!
