Millie at 4

Every year these get harder!

I start by reading the previous years….. and my heart breaks. Why is the time flying by?

(She lost the bar the next lap and took off skating, she is a natural!) 

Millie is precious.

She has a unique personality which I try to encourage.

She loves things to quiet and peaceful.

She loves nice things! Everything she owns is taken care of and cherished!

She is gaining confidence and will now leave my side.

She will jump in the pool, play in the waves and occasionally attempt breaking a rule!

She loves baking.... cake, cupcakes, muffins.

She loves to play organized sports (because they have rules you must follow.

She loves games, stamps and playdough.

Her heart is fragile, words can hurt her.

She chooses friend wisely, Only playing with people who do not overwhelm her.

She has taken to ballet, enjoying the time to dress up and be feminine.

And you cannot forget her hair, crazy beautiful Millie hair

which she loves to wear in a side pony!

4 precious years! I can be brought to tears thinking about your love. Unconditional love. A unique, unwavering whole hearted love! I am excited to see where your heart takes you the precious things you will accomplish. I love watching the comfort you have in being yourself. You quietly, lovingly let your siblings do their things and you slowly and with deep thought make your own friendships nurture your own relationships.  I promise to do my best to not rush you, to not pressure you to let Millie be Millie!
